I wouldn’t say this one was boring, but you guys gotta keep the topics more focused, as you all kept talking about jumping topics. The self-aware talk doesn’t work. Logan’s comments are always good for laughs though. When you guys were talking about chocolate shaped dicks and he said “If I tasted a vein…” I almost spat out my drink. And I thought I over-analyzed things lol.
As for topics requests, I’d like you guys to talk about 80′s action movies. If not then DEFINITELY bad/good movies. The Room, Troll 2, Toxic Avenger, or my personal favorite, Riki-Oh: The Story of Ricky.
Guys, you really need to finish Amnesia: Dark Descent. I know it starts out kind of slow, but seriously, it pocks up really fast. You’re doing yourselves an injustice by not playing all the way through. I did feel, when I started, that it felt like it was at 95% at the very beginning. That annoyed me until I got to Storage and realized that the beginning was like 10%. At that point, I thought Storage would be the scariest part… until I reached the Prison… and then the Morgue… and the Transept… and the Choir. Paint the man. Cut the lines.
Holy shit Matt conquered F-Zero GX?!?! You gained a ton more of my respect.
Master Difficulty, 100%. Story Mode, 100%. My racing game love. One of my all time favorites.
Thanks for the feedback guys (re: all comments here). Self-aware chatter will definitely be pulled back. Its weird, non of us have done podcasts before, so its just natural to kind of comment on it, especially since we are sometimes responding to you guys.
But you pointed it out, and made me aware of it.
We try to focus our topics somewhat, but then we just start chattering.
I like the random chatter, there is a difference between people rambling aimlessly and people having a witty conversation about something. Even when it is “boring”, it is still (usually) intelligent and still always interesting. You guys really don’t stray very far from the talking points. And when you do, Logan always seems to rein you guys in, even when he’s the one who got you sidetracked in the first place. Have fun being dug into next week, i expect at least one terrible penetration joke.
Actually Courtney Cox’s fist movie is Down Twisted. just to let you know.

Awesome podcast, you guys did great even after the Adam Lyons show, which was still pretty epic. Also, I’m kinda disappointed than when you introduced Logan you only referred to him form Jedi A-holes and Gun Size Matters, especially when Depth Perception was so freaking AWESOME

This podcast, to a tee, fits the description of the Mega64 Podcast. Guys from California talking about movies, games, random topics and other “nerd” stuff in an hour or more. Mega64 started off with audio casts and now they have video and live casts and are on their 172nd podcast. Well let me just say that you guys are just as good and I hope to see The Facerocker Podcast achieve greatness as it grows and evolves.
You guys are great. Nuff said. I listened to the last four of your pod casts yesterday since I had nothing to do. Not a bad waste of… what? Six hours? haha. Keep ‘em comin guys.
