I don’t think we have to worry about Facebook’s trademark
I’ve noticed some concern as of late as to the possible future of this site, with Facebook most recently looking like they’ll get the trademark for “Face.” People have been quick to declare our days are most certainly numbered (our recent URL issues had nothing to do with the trademark, by the way).
If you dig a little more into the case, it looks like what Facebook really cares about are people taking the word “Face” and making copycat social networking sites, which we are far from. Still, we technically could conceivably fall under their incredibly broad description of:
“Telecommunication services, namely, providing online chat rooms and electronic bulletin boards for transmission of messages among computer users in the field of general interest and concerning social and entertainment subject matter, none primarily featuring or relating to motoring or to cars.”
I’m not too worried, mostly because I drive a 2002 Volkwagen Passat! It is a station wagon, has a V6 engine. Generally, I thought station wagons were for lame-os, but the amount of stuff it can carry in the back is incredible! I’ve also slept in my car while camping, which is something you can’t do in a traditional sedan or hatchback (at least, comfortably!)
Here’s a picture of me driving in my awesome car in Montana!
My family also owns a big truck! It’s a big ol’ truck, let me tell you! I drove it around all day today in Seattle’s snowy weather and it handled those icy roads and hard packed snow like a champ! I saw three cars flipped and a semi trailer totally crushed and flipped today – when they say Seattle drivers know how to handle rain but have no idea how to properly drive in snow, boy oh boy do they mean it!
Here’s a picture of our truck – a Nissan Titan!
If I had to pick any car in the world, I would pick the Audi S4 because it’s a total beast of an automobile, but the styling is incredibly understated. It’s like a total ninja car because at first glance, it looks just like an Audi A4, but it’s got the guts to take on BMW’s M line.
I mean, just look at this picture of this beautiful automobile:
Anyway! Just wanted to share some thoughts about some cars. What are your favorite cars? Let me know in the comments below!

… I see what you did there…
Nicely done. And Happy Thanksgiving.
He’s a tricky bastard, now isn’t he…
I’d rather get a kombi than a flash new car. Cause it carries all the stuff a normal van could carry, you can pretty much customize it anyway you want and it looks good from the outside.
Plus all the ladies amirite
I was wondering if you guys were still looking for locations? what about portsmouth NH great place for a film
I personally love the style of a classic mid 60′s Jaguar XK-E. Convertible of course. But seeing as I don’t own one or have driven one, I’d have to say my favorite is a ’79 Corvette Stingray. It’s such a wonderful cruiser for a day drive or a short hop to visit friends.
Old school Jags are good looking cars, but a pain to maintain
Wait- how did we go from Facebook to cars and trucks?
“Telecommunication services, namely, providing online chat rooms and electronic bulletin boards for transmission of messages among computer users in the field of general interest and concerning social and entertainment subject matter, none primarily featuring or relating to MOTORING or to CARS.”
So what, if I make a website called FACEWASH.com, Facebook will sue me? Screw that, they didn’t invent the word face. Sure, if you make a social network site called “Facedook.com,” of course it’s a bit of infringement, but this site should have nothing to worry.
The domain kicks ass, in my opinion.
BTW, I found a funny interview with Freddie on a metal site. Pretty weird mixture.

I’m into Jeeps. I’ve had two Cherokees – a red ’99 and a green ’00 – and am looking forward to the 2012 Wrangler next year, which should have the new V6 engine that’s in the Grand Cherokee. (The current engine is considered a boat anchor.)
I’m also into Ural Motorcycles, which are Russian sidecar motorcycles. My dream ride is their stripped-out model called the Ural T. Awesomeness.
I feel you – Jeeps are rad
My 97 Mustang was totaled by a jeep
I love my vespa..
Wait that’s not a car!
But is it MOTORING?
like
Freddie, as it comes to Motoring, What’s Your Price for Flight?
I love my 1990 Mazda 626. Sure it isn’t a super pretty car but you have to love the fact that the front makes it look like the car is smirking. It handles nice, and I prefer the feel of it (you hit the gas get thrown back in your seat then realize you havn’t even hit 35mph yet lol) over several new cars but that is just me (nothing wrong with a car that sounds faster than it really is, keeps me from speeding at least). My dream car would be a 69′ Camaro SS, those things were awesome.
Haha. Legend.
I like everything that’s huge and has lots of power (still talking about motoring and cars) The dream is a Humvee for shopping, and BMW760Li for everything else. Oh and id have a Sachs Mad-Ass underbone motorcycle in the trunk of each car. I think that’s all. Maybe a KITT would be awesome for Sunday rides.
Being an owner of an A4 and a desirer of an S4, I appreciate this post. Thank you for all the great automotive content you’re providing on facerocker.com! ;]
Oh yeah, Freddie, we’d love to see a video or two of your gaming creations posted on our new gaming website! http://www.hdsht.com – check it out!
Man, I really want a Nissan Figaro. There’s a couple being sold in the area around me. Not sure about the colours though, mostly pastels and such. And I’m not entirely sure re-spraying it would be best if I ever wanted to sell it.
i like pringles and macbook pros
Cheetos and Bean Dip. The combination simply rules the world.
I definitely share your taste, Freddie! For me Audi is one of the best manufacturers when it comes to safety and awesome design. Audi is like the Freddie Wong of cars, totally wicked! :]
ford mustang+ wet/snowy roads= ☠
what about beyonce’s jz $2 million Bugatti Veyron
Just adding to the mainly car content of this site… although I’ll have to say our family has always been a toyota or honda sort…

Btw, if you go there u MUST rent the Jeep Wrangler because that’s an awesome car and it’s perfect for the trip!
Personaly, i gotta go with the ford tundra. that car can take anything u throw at it
I can’t wait to get my drivers license in Australia, which is in two years. I’d start with a Nissan Skyline because it’s my favourite car, however if I can’t get it I’ll be happy to drive around a pimped Suzuki Swift :3
Brilliant site…. well done!
